raghu (varun dhawan) is a happy content man who has a beautiful wife mishti (yami gautam), his college sweetheart and a son robin. this fairy tale life comes to an abrupt end when mishti and robin are killed in a bank robbery case. left in a state of shock, raghu never comes to terms with his life. after one of the robbers, laik (nawazuddin siddiqui) is caught by the police, raghu tries to avenge his family’s loss by forcefully sleeping with laik’s prostitute girlfriend jhumli (huma qureshi) but attains nothing. while laik is given a 20 year jail sentence, raghu still harbours an uncontrollable angst inside him which comes out 15 years later when laik is bailed due to his medical conditions. this where the story starts and the twists keep you hooked into this revenge tale.

kabir grewal ( arjun rampal), a casanovic film maker and screenwriter is making multiple films (guns trilogy) based on a thief's life and robberies, all achieving high success. in order to shoot his third instalment (guns 3), he goes to malaysia, where he meets a londonbased film-maker ayesha aamir ( jacqueline fernandez). kabir and ayesha get friendly and soon fall in love. when ayesha gets to know about kabir's casanova attitude, she breaks up with him and eturns to london. dejected kabir goes into depression and eturns back to mumbai, leaving his film incomplete. after several failed trials kabir couldn't find a perfect climax for his story. on his assistant meera's ( shernaz pate) suggestion kabir goes to a film festival as part of the jury, where ayesha's film is being screened. ayesha, thought that kabir is following her and asks him to stay away from her life. after his father's ( anupam kher) death and been sued by film financiers kabir decides to move on and complete his film.

this political crime thriller movie dirty politics (2015) story revolves round the bhanvari devi sex scandal and demands the actors to do some steamy bed scenes. also when, it was asked about mallika sherawat’s bold scenes, the director said k.c. bokadia that, “mallika sherawat”, i must confess, obliged us by doing bold and sexy sequences, which mean a lot to the intriguing story line and also especially the sexy scene with om puri was stunningly performed by mallika sherawat.

danish ( dhanush), a mute whose childhood dream was to become a bollywood actor, reaches mumbai to fulfill his dream. he tries to enter the film city there, but gets stopped by the guards there. he trespasses the gate and comes across an assistant director, akshara pandey ( akshara haasan), who is amazed by his acting. she approaches a director for requesting a role for danish in a film, but the director refuses after he comes to know that danish can't speak. danish and akshara go to a voice hospital to get his check-up, but doctors declare his vocal chords are fully paralyzed and are unable to be treated. but, they assure him that with their advanced technology, danish could have a 'voice transfer'. they fit a chip inside danish's larynx with which a person could transfer their voice into the chip, and when the person would speak, the words will also come from danish's mouth. they set out to search for a person who could speak for danish every time, when they come across an old drunkard,amitabh sinha ( amitabh bachchan), lying on the footpath. amitabh also wanted to become an actor but was rejected because of his voice. danish approaches the director again, who agrees to launch him this time, but wanted him to change his name. danish searches for a name and concludes on shamitabh (the combination of danish and amitabh), giving credit to the person who provided him with voice. shamitabh makes a couple of movies and turns out to be a hit actor to which amitabh realizes was only because of him and an ego problem between the two starts to rise. they both separate and start making their own movies, where shamitabh plays the role of a dumb person and amitabh dubbing the voice for another actor. both movies end in a flop at the box office. akshara makes both of them realize they are nothing without each other and gets them together for yet another film, titled 'sorry' which is directed by akshara herself. meanwhile, akshara and shamitabh tell that they like each other.

the story follows members of the secret operation called baby, a temporary task force headed by feroz (denzongpa) whose mission is to protect india from terrorists and whose mandate is coming to a close. while attempting to rescue a fellow indian security agent in turkey, ajay rajput (kumar) discovers a terrorist plot against a delhi mall which he and jai (daggubati) are able to prevent. in the process they learn that this was only the first in a series of massive attacks that have been planned. a team from baby follows leads to get escaped terrorist bilal (kay kay), but all of the squad members on the mission except ajay are killed in an explosion. to collect further information from a terrorist logistics planner in nepal, ajay and officer priya (pannu) travel to nepal pretending to be husband and wife. their plan to capture terrorist goes wrong, and priya is trapped alone with him when he discovers she is spying on him. ajay arrives to find that priya has knocked out the villain.feroz sends ajay, jai and shukla to their deep asset ashfaq in saudi arabia where bilal is making his plans. after they kill bilal and are about to eturn, they come across the terrorist mastermind maulana (naz). jai knocks him out and they decide to bring maulana back to india, sedated, under the pretext that he is a relative they need to get to india for a liver transplant. after the discovery of bilal's death, the arab police chief first attempts to close on the airport to prevent the murderer's escape and the police almost apprehend the baby agents. however, a short time later when he calls and finds out there are in fact 3 people on the plane headed to india under a medical visa, he smiles and lets them escape

dolly ki doli is unabashedly funny and entertaining all through the first half, but the film fails to deliver the same consistency in the second. the film follows a con woman who traps rich guys into marrying her only to do away with all their money. she refuses to kiss her potential grooms or consummate their marriage, and is gone before the sun is up on the wedding night! inspite of a camera in every phone, no one manages to click the ‘looteri dulhan’ as she grooves at her many sangeets and radiantly blushes on her wedding days. and this is just one gaping loophole among the many you will stumble upon, as the film runs to a rather unconventional climax. director abhishek dogra has wrapped a mediocre story into a glamorous package with dolly ki doli. the music score is lyrically challenged but upbeat, andmalaika arora khansizzles in her item number.rajkummar raois extremely endearing as he plays the heartbroken lover, the haryanvi accent only adding to his charm.after a series of serious films, this feisty entertainer has added another feather to his cap.varun sharmaplays manoj singh chadhdha, a desperate delhi boy, to perfection.pulkit samrattries to ape salman khan, (somebody tell him off!).sonam kapooris loud, brash, and fashionable.archana puran singhis funny, and deserves mention! dolly ki doli may not exactly be a top-notch entertainer, but it definitely is your best bet this weekend. the plot is funny for the most part and the actors have delivered stellar performances. it has its moments, and surely does put a smile on your face.

the movie starts on a stormy night in kerala. a large tree branch falls and breaks the roof of an out-house, releasing a dark entity. a woman inspects the out-house and ends up in a hospital in coma. in another town her daughter sanjana ( bipasha basu) and her husband kabir ( karan singh grover) argue about not being able to spend her birthday together. sanjana gets a call about her mother's accident and they quickly fly to kerala. in kerala, sanjana begins having paranormal visions that make her believe that her dead conjoined twin's soul is after her. her husband does not believe her and sends her to his former professor for spiritual healing. during the healing sessions she tells the professor about how her conjoined twin anjana (bipasha basu) always disliked that kabir liked sanjana more than her. in fact it was when kabir told sanjana that he was coming back home from abroad that sanjana decided to separate from anjana.it was during this operation that anjana died, and sanjana blames herself for her sister's death. the professor reassures her that when she sees anjana in her visions it is the result of her guilt and only a figment of her subconscious. back at her mother's place, while getting water at night sanjana is abducted into the out-house by an unseen entity. hearing noises kabir wakes up and finds her unconscious in the out-house. we later learn that sanjana is now possessed by anjana's soul. after this, sanjana/anjana can't seem to get enough of kabir. when the professor meets her again he feels there is something wrong and tells kabir to keep an eye on her, which she overhears. the care-taker suggests for them to have a ritual performed after her daughter-in-law sees sanjana/anjana messing with the dog. after the ritual anjana's stronghold escalades and her true colours are shown, resulting in an exorcist being called in.during the exorcism anjana reveals that she was actually murdered and urges kabir to find the truth as she leaves sanjana's body. after sanjana wakes up, kabir threatens to leave her, then sanjana tells him about years ago when he called her to tell her that he was coming home, anjana lost her mind and tried to kill her because she too had feelings for kabir. in self-defence sanjana hit anjana on the head with anjana's glass music box, killing her accidentally. their mother covered the murder to protect her daughter. after consulting with professor they try to find and burn the last remaining thing of anjana that will set her soul free. sanjana, kabir, the care-taker and her daughter-in-law all go into the out-house following music. there under the floor they find the dead body of anjana. the care-taker and her daughter-in-law go inside to get kerosene to burn the body but end up dead. then the professor arrives at the out-house with kerosene, but is actually possessed by anjana and attacks sanjana.

salman bhai ki kasam, if any film deserves to cross the rs 100 crore mark it is main aur mr riight. these were my thoughts exactly as the film was at the interval stage. you walk out with a smile on your face at being entertained at such an energetic pace. giving credence to these thoughts is barun sobti who socks you with his genius as sukhwinder singh, a wannabe star who lands up at an auditioning agency in mumbai and ends up with a role he would rather not play. this guy deserves a standing ovation. giving him company and matching him in every scene is shenaz treasuryvala who plays alia, the boss at the agency who is caught up with the demands of those wanting to make it, as well as her friends who want her to get hooked.

having played similar kind of roles inlove aaj kal and cocktail, saif ali khan seems to have mastered the character of a playful, COMMITment phobic man. the only thing that differentiates jai and gautam from yudi, is a sense of maturity in acting. as his alter ego yogi, saif marvels an impressive comic timing that surpasses his own standards. ileana d’cruz does an effortless job in bringing lightness to the movie. this might be her second best performance after barfi! kalki koechlin is simply outstanding even in a short role. despite playing an unbearable character, she manages to look absolutely endearing.
