(According to Nishith Bansode I Love Desi is a 3 star movie)

in my view, pankaj batra had done a good job in making of this movie, but unfortunately the actors and the supporting team could not present thier best. this movie which stars vedant bali, a manager of akshay kumar do not appears so impressive. moreover the actress also could not keep a pace with the story and the scenes of the film. simran name is very common in punjabi films. the story featuring punjabi boy and girl love story. punjab singh, a punjabi boy, willing for his dream girl simran. on the other hand priyanka singh a rich nri who hates her filmy name simran. simran is supposed to marry an indian within 2 months, otherwise her property will go to a trust. to continue retain of the property she was compelled to marry punjab singh. after marriage she told punjab singh that she hates anything desi. from here the story revolves around the situation being created by director
